FORM I, II & VI visited “Buque J. S. Elcano”

This week, Form I, II, and VI students visited the Spanish training ship Buque Juan Sebastián Elcano, which docked at the port of Montevideo. As one of the world’s largest and oldest active training ships, it serves as a floating academy for Spanish Navy cadets, carrying a rich maritime legacy. Our students explored its decks, learned about its history and rigging, and spoke with naval officers about their training and life at sea. The visit deepened their appreciation for naval traditions and highlighted the value of hands-on learning beyond the classroom. We thank the Spanish Navy and Embassy for this inspiring experience!
