EnglishOur Form VI students had an incredible opportunity to attend a lecture by Richard Cowley titled “Secrets, Mysteries, and Lies – The Drama of the Battle of the River Plate.”
Mr Cowley shared an engaging story filled with intrigue, espionage, chivalry, and honour, bringing to life one of the most famous naval battles of the Second World War. His passion for history made the session unforgettable!
After the lecture, the students visited the Museo Naval for a guided tour, where they explored artefacts and stories that added depth to everything they had just learned.
